DIY Music Foundation camps in Gobbler Ridge at Greenleaf State Park and is generally bluegrass, swing, gospel etc. At the same time, Greenleaf Old Time Music Association (glotma.org) camps in all the other campgrounds, and they promote Old Time Music only as well as bring in artists for workshops and shows. The two organizations work together closely to get all the facilites at Greenleaf as well as amenities for the festival. They also collect money jointly via one system. We recognize that this is a bit confusing.

Who We Are
DIY Music Foundation’s exempt purpose is to support music education primarily through donations to other nonprofit organizations that support music education or musicians with health needs. DIY’s primary fund raising activity is a “Music Festival” which we hold one time per year in the spring, at beautiful Greenleaf State Park near Braggs, Oklahoma. The festival draws music lovers of all ages and diverse musical back-grounds from a multi-state region who come to camp and play and learn and listen to music of all types and varieties. Since our incorporation in 2023, DIY Music Foundation has made sizeable annual donations to three well known and well respected Oklahoma 501c3 nonprofit organizations that support music education and musicians with health needs (Greenleaf Old Time Music Association / Oklahoma International Bluegrass Festival Scholarship Fund / Oklahoma “Red Dirt Relief” Fund).

501c-3 status approved by the IRS on July 8, 2024 (Effective Jan 11, 2023)
